Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines how ITT training and consultancy services are delivered to ensure a professional, transparent and high-quality experience for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers and education partnerships. Purpose My work with ITT providers supports effective delivery of the Core Content Framework and goes beyond it to strengthen how trainees apply learning in real classroom contexts. Training focuses on building confidence, consistency and professional judgement, aligned with statutory guidance and Ofsted ITE inspection expectations. Scope of Service Support may include: • Standalone or sequenced training workshops for trainees • Targeted input on behaviour, SEND, adaptive teaching and subject pedagogy • Support for specific cohorts where additional confidence or consistency is required • Input aligned with quality assurance or inspection preparation All training is tailored to the provider’s context and programme priorities. Booking and Payment Training is agreed in advance. Fees are confirmed prior to delivery and invoiced by session, half-day, full day or project. Payment is due on receipt unless otherwise agreed. Fees are non-refundable once training has been delivered. Cancellations and Rescheduling Five working days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur charges for preparation and time reserved. If rescheduling is required by me, reasonable notice will be given and an alternative date offered. Confidentiality and Data Protection All information is treated as confidential and handled in line with UK GDPR. No trainee data is retained beyond what is necessary for delivery. Safeguarding and Professional Standards All work aligns with national safeguarding expectations. As a qualified teacher and former Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), I work in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children. Professional Boundaries Training provides guidance and modelling; implementation remains the responsibility of the ITT provider and partnership schools. All communication is professional and solutions-focused. Feedback and Complaints Concerns should be raised directly where possible. Formal complaints can be sent to info@thecomputerscienceteacher.com and will be acknowledged within five working days. Policy Review This policy is reviewed regularly to reflect best practice and changes in guidance.
